A Real Friendship

A friend is one of the nicest things you can have,

One of the best things you can be,

A friend is a living treasure,

A precious gift to have.

We say no man is an island,

And I believe in that,

Everyone deserves to have a friend,

And everyone deserves to be a friend.

But still trials come along,

Where circle of friends is tested,

Where you will see the real one

Whom you call a real friend.

A real friend knows how to be with you,

When you’re happy,

Knows how to laugh with,

And when you’re sad, know how to comfort you.

What I want about real friendship

Is acceptance

For who and what you are

That’s what real friendship.
